Batanga Blanco Tequila - 750 mL of Pure Agave Flavor
Batanga Blanco Tequila 750 mL is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila made in the town of Tequila, Mexico. Batanga describes hand-harvested agave hearts cooked in masonry brick ovens before fermentation and double distillation. The clear blanco expression puts agave at the center. Its name recalls the Batanga cocktail associated with La Capilla in Tequila, a simple combination of tequila, cola, lime and a salted rim.
Batanga describes the blanco as clear and full-bodied, with pineapple and guava flavors alongside hints of cinnamon, clove and warming spice. The fruit and spice notes give the spirit a distinct profile without obscuring its clean blanco presentation. It is a versatile choice when a cocktail calls for tequila with both fresh fruit character and a little spice.
Serve it in a Batanga with cola, fresh lime and salt, or use it in a margarita; the producer also suggests enjoying the tequila neat. This is one 750 mL bottle at 40% ABV (80 proof).
