The Blanco is bottled directly following distillation and represents the most traditional form of tequila. Because it is not aged or enhanced by barreling, the Blanco is the choice of tequila purists who seek the unmasked agave character and the influences of the land of origin.
The long maturing agave achieves the highest quality fructose and reveals the unique aromas and flavors indigenous to the Jalisco highlands.
Best served chilled or on the rocks, never frozen or on it’s own, and no salt or lime needed.
Best for mixing.
Found everywhere from small family owned taquerias to fine dining.
Great in margaritas, Palomas, etc. Although this brand is best with some age and oak on it, the unaged version is no slouch. It’s still fairly mellow for a blanco, with a soft feel and sweet flavors of coconut and agave. - K.N.Incredibly pungent aromas offer lime juice, grassy soil, and green papaya. Silken in texture, it is almost creamy with sweet custard like flavors in the mouth. A rich vanilla candy flavor perfumes the long finish.
