The Anniversary Series was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Maestro Dobel founder, Juan Dobel, by presenting a tequila that enhances what it means to be a Maestro Tequilero with the greatest virtue: that of sharing. Each year, Dobel will produce a limited edition to honor 50th celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and milestones.

Maestro Dobel® was created under these principles, by a family of true tequila enthusiasts, who, throughout more than ten generations, managed to perfect the art of harvest, distillation and rest, resulting in one of the most award-winning tequilas in the world.
Maestro Dobel Tequila Extra Anejo 1970 was aged in French Oak barrels, and finished in Amarone barrels.
Maestro Dobel Tequila Extra Anejo 1970 Tasting Notes:
Color: Intense and novel in color with bright orange and gold hues demonstrates the maturation from two different barrels. Its smoothness and firm adherence to the glass communicates its exceptional robustness gained from the passage of the years.
Aroma: great aromatic intensity with notes of dried fruits, such as lightly toasted walnuts and almonds predominate. This combines and balances harmoniously with light notes of spicy, fresh cinnamon and vanilla, as well as ripe peach, apricot and banana, which give it a unique character.
Palate: robust and harmonious, consistent with its olfactory promise. Smooth, elegant and with a silky texture, it shows a fine balance between sweet and bitter. It gives a pleasant feeling of warmth, with a satisfying finish on the palate and a permanence worthy of this special edition.
